B-Roll • Supplementary video or backup material. With video news releases, the B-Roll generally follows the primary material on the same cassette.

We provide full service for local or foreign b-roll projects. We continuously shoot b-roll for the travel business covering destinations, local attractions, accommodations, restaurants, cruise lines and underwater video. The b-roll we shoot can be used in a variety of ways for broadcast media purposes with our in-depth coverage.

We have a PADI certified underwater crew and can provide underwater consulting to your project.

B-Roll Newsfeed/Package • B-Roll shot with a focus or compelling story in mind to be satellite fed to newsrooms. Newsroom producers create their own story with this material.

We write, shoot and rush edit your b-roll package with TV broadcast in mind so that the newsroom producer can easily work with the material. Since the story line is suggested each station can personalize the story giving it a different slant.

Video News Release (VNR) • A news or feature on videotape, sent to newsrooms, sometimes with additional b-roll material.

Unlike the b-roll newsfeed where the story is simply suggested or outlined, the VNR is a finished sophisticated commercial dressed as a news story. First we need to develop a clear, focused concept. This is where the experience and skills of The Creative Department Inc. come in. Then we write, shoot and assemble the material into an attention grabbing news story format to be distributed to newsrooms across the country.

Public Service Announcement (PSA) • A message considered to be in the public interest provided by an organization.

We work with Foundations and community organizations to craft stories that inform and educate people. We work together as a team and fully produce your PSA message.

Infomercial and Interstitial • Combining advertising with information to create a short program to be aired between full length programs on television.

We develop short and long format programming based on specific
client needs. Our team includes writers with screenwriting and TV experience and marketing writers who can design new formats that will grab the TV audience. At times these are magazine formats or documentary stories that are broadcast as paid advertisements. Sometimes they are bought by the broadcasters as pure programming.

This 13 part series hosted by a well known Japanese cruise expert is being sponsored by SHE TV, a Japanese cable broadcaster. The series about the cruise experience is in production with the pilot shot in Alaska on Radisson's Seven Seas Navigator.
